Debbie Martinez has joined LAM as a volunteer missionary. She will be working to secure funding for mission projects.

Debbie is married to Omar, who is from Guatemala. They live in Brampton, Ontario, with their three children. Debbie is an educational assistant in the Peel District School Board with more than 15 years of experience. More recently she completed her Master of Theology in Community Development at Wycliffe College. Debbie was previously connected with LAM; while at Wycliffe, she did an internship with LAM conducting a sustainability assessment for a couple of projects.

Debbie is a devoted Christian with a passion for mission. She attends In the Flame of the Holy Spirit Church in Toronto where she serves in the children's ministry. While cross-cultural missions are not feasible currently, she sees volunteering with LAM as a way of serving God internationally and supporting LAM missionaries.
